Horsed around. Powered through the re-master of Fate, beating the OG fate campaign in just over 3.75 hours. Had fun! Attempted to puzzle out what makes Fate such an enticing ARPG. Felt like the under 4 hours I spent playing through the game was a LOT longer than it was. Enjoyed the new streamlined Belt mechanics, as well as new equipment, and equipment slots. discovered just before the final boss, on level 47 of the dungeon, that I have an AoE special attack! Evaluated the Pricepoint of purchasing the remastered version of the game, and felt it a worthy cost. (will probably purchase it again, when it comes to GoG.) Continued to wait for GoG to get the Oblivion remaster. Read Steam reviews for fate:reawakened, and reconfirmed that a LOT of people simply dont know what they want from a video game, or what makes a good game good. (tons of complaining about opening inventory pausing the game, and having less belt slots. (I personaly feel like the inventory pausing the game is a good thing. lets be real, not being able to pause dark souls, was just a kick in the teeth, making a game that flips you the bird after kicking your ass, even harder, for really NO reason what so ever, and this is FATE, a family freindly version of Diablo, made for kids, its not SUPPOSED to be annoying, and or dificult to play.)(the shaved down amount of belt slots is also really no problem at all, once you realize that that belt slots will auto equip like items, when you expend the ones on the belt, IMO this is actually better, than how the belt is handled in diablo 2, or ANY other game I have seen use a belt mechanic for potions, and whatnot.) (I LOVE it!) Thought about that one streamer guy, with the long hair, who said something at somepoint, along the lines of "screw what people think they want from your game, just build the game YOU want to see exist.) Thought about what that guys name is. was unable to remember what his name is, but recall his channel being called pirate software, or something provocative along those lines. I am almost certian he himself is an Indie game developer, perhaps, one day, I will meet the man, and hopefully remember his name, if that comes to pass! Did some research into Video Game Trade shows, and found out that many good ones, that are near to me, are happening RIGHT NOW, and that my game, and my team, simply is NOT ready to hit the road, and go to trade shows, just yet. Perhaps next year.
